Allan from the very first time i met you at the T.A Christmas parties where Carol and myself started dating all those years ago, you made me feel welcome from the word go.
I never got the feeling that you had to warm up to me, you always made me feel at home.
I never ever felt like I had to walk on egg shells or watch what I was saying you always made me feel comfortable. 
You accepted  my family like they were your own and always included them in so many activities over the years weather it was down the caravan or parties or bbqs and you made me feel thankful. 
Over the years we have holidayed all over the place and you would only take a pittance from me towards them,i was allowed to buy the occasional round of drinks but considering you only drunk shandy I think I got a good deal and you made me feel grateful. 
We have worked together on so many things, to many to mention and can remember having a go at each other because we knew jen,carol and clair were listening just for the crack,
 I could go on and on ,we had some excellent times and pretty much the best times of my life whether it be on a speed boat or simply sitting round a bbq late at night down the caravan having a laugh you were there and you made me feel happy.
ALLAN in all the years we've known each other you Never ever said one cross word to me,  you never moaned at me for anything ever.you made me feel welcome, at home, comfortable, thankful, grateful, happy and now sad ...But most of all you made me feel loved so loved,
 i can't begin to tell you.
You have two daughters but you treated me like your Son and ill always remember that.
Allan you are one of the best men I've ever had the pleasure to know and I got the honor to call you Dad you may be gone but you will definitely never be forgotten love you Allan.
